Anna von Hausswolff

With the pipe organ as her primary instrument, Anna von Hausswolff has long moved between doomsday rock and heavy passages on one hand and more intimate organ pieces on the other. On the new album ICONOCLASTS, released last autumn and produced with Filip Leyman, darkness and experimentation blend with new, unexpected dimensions. The album features guest appearances by Ethel Cain, Abul Mogard, Iggy Pop and Maria von Hausswolff.

Von Hausswolff broke through with Ceremony (2012), the follow-up to her debut album Singing from the Grave (2010), and has since released a series of critically acclaimed works - including Dead Magic (2018) and the organ-based solo work All Thoughts Fly (2020). Throughout her career, she has collaborated with Wolves in the Throne Room, Swans, Sunn O))) and Yann Tiersen, and made her mark in film, theatre and performance art. She is now touring with ICONOCLASTS TOUR.
