Ah Dorian!

Dorian is an inexperienced, cautious young man - until his best friend paints his portrait and everything changes. The image makes him popular, admired, and desired. Driven by the cynical and much older Harry, Dorian is tempted to exploit his looks and youth without restraint, drawn into a world of parties, sin, drugs, and crime where the consequences always seem to fall on someone else.

But something is wrong. Dorian stops aging - his appearance remains unchanged, perfect - while the portrait slowly becomes ugly, twisted, grotesque. What should show on him seems to gather in the painting instead. What is he really seeing? And what is the cost of living a life where everything revolves around being admired and desired?

Ah Dorian! is a free interpretation of Oscar Wilde's classic The Picture of Dorian Gray, written by Malin Axelsson, an award-winning playwright and artistic director of Riksteatern Barn & Unga. The production explores contemporary obsession with youth, status, and appearance in a strikingly visual and harsh theatrical form. Running time: 1 hour 15 minutes.
