I List och Lust
Teatersalen - Förslövs skola, Förslöv
I List och Lust comprises two short comic baroque operas spanning 300 years of history: Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's "La serva padrona" and Georg Philipp Telemann's "Pimpinone". The shared theme is maidservants who scheme to climb the social ladder - and hopefully find a bit of love along the way. The production is modernized and adapted for touring, with baroque music accompanied by more contemporary elements.
We encounter a clever and resourceful woman across two different historical periods. Love, relationships, and work were probably just as complicated in the 18th century as they are today - and with a bit of scheming and maneuvering, one might manage to outwit one's boss, or perhaps only fool oneself.
