Soulfly

Soulfly returns with its thirteenth album CHAMA - a name meaning "Flame" in Portuguese that symbolizes human resilience, the forces of nature, and ancestral strength. Musically, the album revolves around a loose concept of a boy from Brazil's favelas seeking a higher power and finding his inner fire among the indigenous peoples of the Amazon jungle.

CHAMA marks a generational shift in the band: for the first time, Max Cavalera has handed over production duties and creative direction to his son, drummer Zyon Cavalera. His brother Igor Amadeus Cavalera contributes bass and songwriting, while touring guitarist Mike DeLeon makes his studio debut with the band.

The album features guest appearances by Dino Cazares (Fear Factory), Michael Amott (Arch Enemy), Todd Jones (Nails), Ben Cook (No Warning), and Gabe Franco (Unto Others). It was recorded in Arizona by John Aquilino and completed by producer Arthur Rizk. CHAMA was released in fall 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records.
