Limpan

Allan Edwall's novella Limpan was published in 1977. It was later dramatized by Martina Montelius, and now Niklas Ejnar has adapted it further.

The play tells the story of a homeless, unemployed, and intoxicated man who has lost his footing and fallen through the cracks of society. He sits on a park bench and tries to explain to anyone who will listen why he ended up there and why he doesn't deserve to exist. Yet in the darkness there is also a spark of life, humor, and love.
