Forgive - A Drop of Bitter Joy — Teater Köpmansgatan 4, Ludvika

The musical theatre group Pajso brings to life the poetry and story of Dan Andersson (1888-1920) in a performance built on authentic historical events - including a dramatic moment in Swedish cultural history in 1920 that touches actress Maria Norgren's own family. The narrative follows Andersson's struggle to write, grounded in his own words, guided by humour and tenderness.

Mats Himmelstrand's and Caroline Rendahl's original compositions of Andersson's poetry carry the performance musically. Pajso - named after the waterway flowing through Dan Andersson's finnmark in southern Dalarna - consists of Mats Himmelstrand (guitar & vocals), Maria Norgren (actress & vocals) and Caroline Rendahl (actress, clarinet & vocals). The performance's title is drawn from the poem "To My Sister".
