An economist and futurologist from Stockholm claims that rural areas are not profitable: "Cities must grow. If you go to Värmland in 30 years, you won't find any universities, entertainment, or shopping. All you'll find is three alcoholics, some children, and a couple of lunatics. That's what's left - everyone else has taken off."
