SkogsnäsTeatern celebrates 20 years with a brand new production - a dramatic and twisted comedy about the closure of Norrland, built from the best scenes of two decades of theatre. Simply put: "the best of" - 20 years of resistance.
On stage, three women - Ingegerd Evans, Karin Jonsson and Petra-Eleonora Svedberg - dig with spades and earth mounds. They unearth memories, old scenes, the occasional cable, plant new dreams and tangle themselves deeper into their root systems. It is a longing to find an origin, to start over from the beginning.
The production is surreal and grounded in reality at once - it illuminates the present day, amplifies voices and creates, amid hardship, both laughter and hope. Featuring scenes from The Song of Taråberg to Hesse's Steppenwolf.
