Núx brúx is a physical and sonic dance ritual about the night, created by Greek choreographer Chara Kotsali. A space for resistance, desire and longing - where the Norrdans international ensemble unfolds a carnivalesque world of revolt, tenderness, solidarity and metamorphosis.
The performance is inhabited by nocturnal creatures and revolutionary stories that move only when you sleep. Núx is the ancient Greek word for "night", while brúx stems from the root of teeth-grinding - together they form a poetic description of nocturnal teeth-grinding. Through magical realism and collective dream states, Kotsali opens the night before the audience.
