Núx brúx

Núx brúx is a physical and sonic dance ritual of the night, created by Greek choreographer Chara Kotsali. A space for resistance, desire and longing - where the Norrdans international ensemble unfolds a carnivalesque world of revolt, tenderness, solidarity and metamorphosis.

The performance is inhabited by nocturnal creatures and revolutionary stories that move only when you sleep. Núx is the ancient Greek word for "night", while brúx stems from the root of teeth grinding - together they form Núx brúx, a poetic description of grinding teeth at night.

With touches of magical realism and collective dream states, Kotsali opens the night before the audience.
