Who Needs a Friend? (A Troll Tale)

The forest troll Barke lives alone in his forest cottage, without family or friends. He comforts himself with his shimmering troll gold - who needs friends when you have such beautiful golden stones? But one day the gold disappears, and Barke is forced to ask the wise Mountain Troll for help. It turns out he has become greedy and mean, and only a kind heart can see troll gold.

"Who Needs a Friend?" is an interactive performance by Teater Röd in which children actively help the forest trolls understand their feelings - sadness, fear and anger. Together with the audience, the performance explores what emotions mean, how to handle them and what friendship means. The trolls are happy to stay after the performance to talk with the children about feelings and friendship.
