Slottsberget and Lindholmen

Beside Lindholmen's shipyard, an industrial community grew where workers built their own homes - sometimes on the ruins of something much older. The walk tells the story of daily life for Lindholmen residents, the shipyard's development, and how the place has changed since then. It was also here that the largest animal ever to arrive in Göteborg ended up.

The walk starts at Slottsberget's Älvsnabben ferry landing and ends at Sannegårdshamnen bus stop, Ceresgatan. Note that the ferry landing is closed and no ferries stop there anymore. The route includes some stairs and a couple of steep hills, and is adapted according to weather and road conditions.

To participate, you must show your booking confirmation and a valid day ticket or Museikort. Payment by Swish is possible on site. Simple loudspeaker equipment is used during the walk.
