Nya Varvet

A guided tour of Nya Varvet, an area that has witnessed military personnel, seaplanes, and prisoners. Along the way, stories are told of farmers, sailors, admirals, and cannons - but also of inns and parks where officers' families strolled and children played on swings. The site features small wooden cottages and grand stone houses, an unusual cemetery, and much more. More ships have burned at this shipyard than have been built!

The tour starts at the intersection of Långedragsvägen and Nya Varvsallén and ends at Nya Varvet's harbour. To participate, you must present your booking confirmation and a valid day ticket or Museikort. Payment by Swish is available on site.
