Chris Davies (Disco Freaks/AXNÉR)

Chris Davies is one half of Disco Freaks - a vinyl-DJ duo, party series, radio show and record label founded in 2013. Over the past 13 years, they have expanded from London to performances in New York, Italy, Australia, Scandinavia, Croatia and Spain, with regular festival appearances including a residency at Glastonbury since 2016 and Bestival. They have performed alongside Roy Ayers, John Morales, Change, Natasha Diggs and Marcellus Pittman at venues such as Fabric, Jazz Cafe, Es Paradis Ibiza and Ministry Of Sound, as well as on lineups for Glitterbox, Disco Disco and Defected Records. Remixes and edits have been released on Acid Jazz Records and through their own label Disco Freaks Recordings. For ten years they have also hosted a monthly radio show on Hoxton Radio in London and The Face Radio in New York.

In 2021, Chris also launched AXNÉR, a contemporary disco band. AXNÉR has released sold-out records featuring members from Nile Rodgers & Chic, Al "Million Dollar Disco" Kent and John Morales, and the music has received support from Dua Lipa, The Reflex, Dave Lee, BBC 6Music's Craig Charles and Coleen "Cosmo" Murphy.
