Förnimmelser

A full musical evening in collaboration with Hållandsgården.

The performance Förnimmelser has emerged from a time of anxiety and uncertainty. Through poetry, music and song, it addresses both personal and contemporary questions and feelings - words and music interweave into a whole with a desire to strengthen hope and resilience.

Marianne Folkedotter is a storyteller, poet and songwriter known for performances that have reached audiences in and beyond Västerbotten. In 2022 she debuted with the poetry collection "En skog som går omkring bland husen", which was later staged with music by and featuring Rickard N Jokela. Rickard N Jokela is a bassist and composer influenced by jazz, Indian raga and modern classical music. After travels to Japan, India and Switzerland, he has developed his own approach to improvisation and solo performance.

Hållandsgården offers a vegetarian buffet before the performance - tickets can be booked with or without dinner. The performance is arranged in collaboration with Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, with financial support from Jämtkraft, Swedbank's Owner Foundation Jämtland County and Åre Municipality.
