Daff Daffs Busfrön

A musical evening in collaboration with Hållandsgården, featuring the performance "Förnimmelser" by Marianne Folkedotter and Rickard N Jokela.

The performance weaves together poetry, music and song to illuminate contemporary questions and feelings - with a desire to lift hope and strengthen resilience. Marianne Folkedotter is a storyteller, poet and songwriter, known from a series of narrative performances in and beyond Västerbotten. In 2022 she debuted with the poetry collection "En skog som går omkring bland husen", which was later staged with music by and featuring Rickard N Jokela. Rickard N Jokela is a bassist and composer influenced by jazz, Indian raga and modern classical music, and through travels to Japan, India and Switzerland has developed his own approach to improvisation and solo performance.

Hållandsgården offers a vegetarian buffet before the performance - tickets can be booked with or without dinner. Arranged in collaboration with Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, with financial support from Jämtkraft, Swedbank's Owner Foundation Jämtlands Län and Åre municipality.
