Bortom Hemma

Vidya Sundberg is a musician and songwriter born in Pune, India, and raised in Gävle. In the performance "Bortom Hemma", she reflects on her love for her two mothers - the Swedish woman who adopted her, and her biological mother, whom she found in India after becoming a mother herself. The music is composed and performed by Vidya, drawing from her three albums, which have received attention in national and international press.

The performance moves between depth and humour, seriousness and joy of life, in an intimate encounter with the audience.
