Piaf, Piazzolla - Passioner!

Piaf, Piazzolla - Passioner! is a musical theatre production with a script by Erik Jensen, where a fictional story inspired by Edith Piaf and Astor Piazzolla's musical universe unfolds. At its heart is Esperanza, a girl who grows up in poverty in Buenos Aires and whose unwavering belief in herself drives her all the way to Paris - and the right to sing.

The story depicts her struggle for recognition, dignity, and vindication, woven together with music from the worlds of tango and chanson. The tone is warm and humorous, yet the music carries a powerful emotional charge.
