About: Violet Green

Violet Green is a Swedish music group that has toured for over ten years with their show "Tell it like it is", a tribute to the great divas of rock and blues. The performance travels from smoky Southern piano bars and vaudeville tents through rhythm & blues, spotlighting pioneers such as Bessie Smith, Big Mama Thornton, Etta James and Aretha Franklin.
