Dark Tales and Dances

Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester takes the stage at Berwaldhallen in Stockholm on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. Conductor Yi-Chen Lin leads the orchestra with viola soloist Ami-Louise Johnsson performing a programme spanning Bohuslav Martinu's Rhapsodic Concerto for viola, Antonín Dvorák's Midnight Witch, and Zoltán Kodály's Dances from Galánta. Berwaldhallen, the concert hall of Swedish Radio opened in 1979 by architects Sven Backström and Leif Reinius, serves as the orchestra's home venue and accommodates approximately 1,200 listeners. This performance is one of four Swedish dates on the orchestra's tour during autumn 2026 and spring 2027.
