Queen Lovisa Ulrika

Actress Paula Ternström portrays Lovisa Ulrika - Queen of Sweden - from her arrival as a Prussian princess to her struggle for power, culture, and influence. The play revolves around her ambitions, conflicts, and loneliness: the failed court coup of 1756, her passion for the arts, and her complicated relationship with her son Gustav III.

In an intimate dialogue with the audience, Lovisa Ulrika weaves together pride, sorrow, and defiance - telling her story not as history wrote it, but as she herself remembers it.
