Doctor Glas

A theatrical adaptation of Hjalmar Söderberg's novel about the melancholic doctor Glas and his love for Helga - a woman trapped in a loveless marriage with pastor Gregorius. The story revolves around an increasingly tormenting question: does one have the right to kill a person to save another?

Jonas Hellman-Driessen plays Glas, accompanied on stage by conductor Tomas Isacsson. The production combines dread, anxiety, and passionate love with music. Director Emma Peters describes it as a thriller - and a classic exploration of vanity, longing, love, and solitude.
