Blå Kaktus - The Kokomo Kings

The Kokomo Kings deliver an uncompromising blend of roots music with deep roots in raw, old-school blues - the band has been described as "more rock'n'roll than rock'n'roll". They have toured clubs and festivals across Sweden and much of Europe, from Norway and Denmark to Spain, France, and the UK.

Their debut album "Artificial Natural" came out in 2013, and since then the band has built a solid reputation in blues and rock circles. "Too Good to Stay Away From" (2017) was chosen as album of the month by German Blues News and as the fifth best album of the year by American The Blues Junction. In 2018 they received the "Band of the Year" award from British The Blues Lounge Radio Show. Their latest album "Turbomouth" was released in 2025.

For 2026, the band is presented in a partly new line-up, with Marino Valle on vocals and Henrik "Pilen" Pilquist on guitar.

Marino Valle - vocals
Magnus Lanshammar - upright bass, vocals
Jonas Holmberg - guitar
Henrik Pilquist - guitar
