For the eighth consecutive year, Gunnebo Castle opens its doors to an exhibition exploring the role of flowers in cultural history. Visitors encounter flowers in the castle's permanent interior, in artworks, on porcelain, and in late 18th-century fashion - the exhibition seeks to answer which flowers have accompanied us through history and why.
Participants: Viola Johansson (florist), Ellen Nilsson Ekberg (fashion historian, Gunnebo Castle), NordicDyer, Antik West, Ida Gudmundsson (artist) and Karin Karinson (ceramicist).
The exhibition runs from 10-25 October and can only be viewed during guided tours. The starting point is the south entrance (under the stairs). The tour is conducted in Swedish.
Accessibility: Wheelchair users can enter directly onto the main floor, but there is no lift. From the entrance level to the main floor there are 20 steps, and from the main floor to the upper floor 23 steps. Portable stools are available to borrow. Cloakroom and toilet facilities are located on the entrance level. Contact Gunnebo Castle before your visit if you have special needs.
