Portuguese fado singer Ana Moura brings traditional and contemporary fado to Uppsala Konsert & Kongress.
Ana Moura (born 1979 in Santarém) is a Portuguese fado singer of Portuguese-Angolan heritage, widely regarded as one of the leading voices of her generation. Her 2012 album Desfado - produced by Larry Klein and certified 6× Platinum - became the best-selling album of the 2010s in Portugal by a local artist, and she has shared stages with Mick Jagger, Prince and Herbie Hancock. Her 2022 album Casa Guilhermina marked a bold creative turn, weaving fado together with Angolan semba and kizomba rhythms drawn from her own family roots.
Ana Moura appeared as a featured artist on two 2026 singles: 'Era de Aquário/Deixa o Sol Entrar' with MARO and 'Bailar' with ProfJam.
Moura featured on two fusion singles in 2025: 'Lento' with Lisbon producer VanyFox and 'Maré' with Ricardo Ribeiro.
Ana Moura completed a European tour in March 2025, with dates in Paris, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg and London.
Ana Moura released the single 'Desliza' on 19 September 2024, her first collaboration with producer Moon Willis, known for his work on Stromae's Multitude album.
Ana Moura performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in July 2024.
