Analepsy is a slamming brutal death metal band from Lisbon, Portugal, formed in late 2013. Their music blends old-school brutal death metal with modern melodic elements and a recurring space/esoteric theme. The debut album 'Atrocities from Beyond' (2017) put them on the international map, and after winning the Portuguese W:O:A Metal Battle that same year they represented Portugal at Wacken Open Air. The 2022 sophomore record 'Quiescence', released on Miasma Records, drew guest appearances from members of Suffocation, Disgorge and Abominable Putridity.

Analepsy joined Cytotoxin on a UK tour in November 2025, with dates across Glasgow, Derby, Manchester and other cities.
Analepsy played IV Viseu Death Fest on November 8, 2025 - their only Portuguese show that year.
