Bria Skonberg is a Canadian trumpeter, singer and songwriter based in New York. She grew up in British Columbia, studied trumpet at Capilano University in Vancouver, and established herself on the jazz scene after moving to New York in 2010. The New York Times called her "a shining hope of hot jazz" - her music moves fluidly between classic jazz traditions and contemporary sounds.
