About

Emmi Christensson is a Swedish singer and actress born in 1984 in Vessigebro, trained at the Bjärnum Musical School and Gothenburg's Ballet Academy. She made her West End debut in 2014 as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London, later reprising the role in Stockholm opposite Peter Jöback. Beyond the stage, she voiced Belle in the Swedish adaptation of Disney's Beauty and the Beast and competed in Melodifestivalen 2018 with the song "Icarus".

    Musikalkväll with Emmi Christensson and Peter Johansson was announced for its fourth consecutive summer, touring four Swedish outdoor venues in July 2026.

    The 2026 Musikalkväll summer tour visits Ronneby, Falkenberg, Borgholm and Vadstena, with an expanded ensemble including brass and choir added to the band and string quartet.
