This is the Moment

The production takes audiences through 2,000 years of world history with iconic numbers from musicals including Jesus Christ Superstar, Kristina från Duvemåla, The Phantom of the Opera, Chess and Les Misérables - each song placed in its historical context.

Herman Lindqvist weaves the programme together with stories about the times and events behind the musicals, interspersed with episodes from his own life as a foreign correspondent and war correspondent. On stage with him are West End star Emmi Christensson, musical and rock star Nina Söderquist, musical legend Janne Åström and tenor Kalle Leander, alongside conductor Johannes Annfält and a large live band.

The production premiered at Göta Lejon in Stockholm in 2025 and toured Sweden throughout 2026.
