Torsson - Att vilja men inte kunna
Torsson celebrates 50 years as a band with the musical production Att vilja men inte kunna - Berättelsen om Gunnar, Axel och Lars-Erik Nyman. The title is a parody of the band's 1980 debut album Att kunna men inte vilja, and the entire production is based on a story written by frontman, singer and songwriter Bo Åkerström - a narrative that weaves together many of Torsson's songs around the fates of three people.
The production is divided into two acts. Actor Per Lasson performs the story while Torsson plays classics such as Klippans centrum, Det spelades bättre boll, Jag minns en gammal bil, Öresundstwist and Volleyboll-Molly, alongside newly composed songs created specifically for the show. Everything is framed with images on a large screen.
The tour visits concert halls and theatres throughout Sweden in the autumn.
