Fear Factory is an American industrial metal band from Los Angeles, formed around 1990 by guitarist Dino Cazares. The band built its identity on the collision of crushing guitar riffs, machine-like drumming and electronic textures, with the 1995 album Demanufacture establishing them as one of the genre's defining acts. After a turbulent lineup history - including the acrimonious departure of longtime vocalist Burton C. Bell - the band entered a new chapter in 2023 when singer Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber joined, and in August 2026 released 'Roboticist', their first studio single with the new lineup.
