Scottish heavy metal band Gloryhammer takes the stage at Fryshuset Klubben in Stockholm.
Gloryhammer are a British power metal band founded in 2010 by keyboardist and composer Christopher Bowes, best known as the frontman of Alestorm. Built around a sprawling fantasy-sci-fi saga set in the Scottish Highlands - and eventually outer space - the band released four studio albums on Napalm Records between 2013 and 2023, touring alongside acts like Blind Guardian, Stratovarius and HammerFall. Their theatrical live shows, with members performing in full armour as their story characters, have built a devoted following across Europe and North America.
Gloryhammer released the standalone single 'On a Quest for Aberdeen' in May 2025, their first new track of the year, produced by Jacob Hansen.
The band launched the Dundax Ascendant Summer Tour 2025 across Europe with Visions of Atlantis, covering festivals and club shows from June through July.
Gloryhammer joined Alestorm and Glyph for an extensive US tour running September-October 2025, described by the band as their most extensive US run ever.
Gloryhammer released the surprise single 'He Has Returned' in late 2024, expanding the story of the Robot Prince of Auchtertool with production by George Lever and Jacob Hansen.
A European headline tour for 2026 has been announced, with dates confirmed in cities including Oslo, Utrecht, Copenhagen, Paris, Manchester and Glasgow.
