Indie rock bands Interpol and Bloc Party co-headline a joint tour across the UK and EU, performing at Royal Arena in Lund.
Interpol is a post-punk band from Manhattan, New York, formed in 1997 by Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler and Sam Fogarino. Their 2002 debut Turn on the Bright Lights became a landmark of the post-punk revival, and the follow-up Antics (2004) cemented their status with indie classics like 'Slow Hands' and 'Evil'. Eight albums in, they remain one of the most enduring names in alternative rock.
Interpol announced their eighth studio album This Mirror Weighs a Ton, due August 28, 2026 on Partisan Records - their first release after 20+ years on Matador.
The album was produced by Andrew Wyatt (Rosalía, Charli XCX) and mixed by David Fridmann, recorded at Wyatt's Manhattan studio - the band's first time recording in New York in over a decade.
Third single 'Iron City' was released on July 8, 2026.
Interpol announced an extensive North American tour spanning July through October 2026 across 23 cities in the US and Canada.
Interpol released a 20th anniversary expanded edition of Antics, including a previously unreleased live recording from their 2005 Palacio de los Deportes concert in Mexico City.
