concert19:00King Dude + Lamia Vox in Göteborg
King Dude and Lamia Vox present experimental music and performance at Monument in Göteborg.
King Dude is the stage name of Thomas Jefferson Cowgill, an American musician originally from Seattle, WA, now based in Australia. Under this moniker he crafts dark folk and neofolk rooted in Americana, blues and gospel, delivered in a deep baritone that draws comparisons to both Johnny Cash and the neofolk tradition of Death in June. He started the project around 2009 as a stark departure from his earlier heavy metal bands Book of Black Earth and Teen Cthulhu, and has since released a string of albums on labels including Dais, Ván and Avant!, toured extensively across Europe and North America, and built a devoted international following.
King Dude released the single 'Dead of Tomorrow' in collaboration with German band Verrottet.
King Dude released 'Songs of the 1940s - Vol. 3 & 4', continuing his series of covers of American songs from that era.
A King Dude concert is scheduled for September 27, 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic.
A King Dude show is listed for September 5, 2026 in Montreuil, France.
