Lady Lynette, born Lynette Sibongile Tenjiwe Koyana Bjerstedt, is a South African-Swedish jazz and soul vocalist based in Malmö. She built an international profile in the 1990s as a soul-pop artist recording at Tambourine Studios with Lady Lynette and the Spokesmen - credits from that era include backing vocals on Tom Jones's 1999 album Reload. She later returned to jazz, weaving in soul, funk and Latin flavours, and her long-running Billie Holiday tribute show Lady Sings Lady, created in 2009 for the 50th anniversary of Holiday's death, has been performed repeatedly since.
Lady Lynette and her Jazzmen are scheduled to perform at Katalin jazz venue in Uppsala in September 2025.
