concertLinda Lampenius X Pete Parkkonen
Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen take the stage together at Berns with their band, blending hard rock with emotional songs and performing both classic hits and a powerful rendition of "Liekinheitin".
Linda Lampenius (born 26 February 1970 in Helsinki) is a Finnish-Swedish concert violinist who trained at the Sibelius Academy and built an international career spanning classical, pop and crossover music. Known internationally under the stage name Linda Brava, she has released albums on EMI Classics and performed with orchestras including the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. In 2026 she represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna alongside singer Pete Parkkonen, finishing 6th with their electro-pop-classical entry "Liekinheitin".
Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen finished 6th at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 grand final in Vienna with 279 points, performing "Liekinheitin" live with Lampenius playing violin - an exception granted by the EBU.
The EBU granted Lampenius a special exemption to play her violin live at Eurovision, as the contest normally requires instrumental parts to be pre-recorded backing tracks.
Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen won Finland's national selection UMK 2026 on 28 February in Tampere with 570 points, securing the country's Eurovision entry.
Sanoma Media Finland announced plans to reimburse Lampenius for a 35,000 Finnish marks (~9,000 euros) newspaper apology she was compelled to publish in 2001 in favour of Peter Nygård, who was convicted in Canada in 2024 on multiple counts of sexual assault.
Lampenius was a Sommarprogram host on Sveriges Radio P1, speaking about her life including her experiences with eating disorders.
