Little North

About

Little North is a Danish piano trio - pianist Benjamin Nørholm Jacobsen, bassist Martin Brunbjerg Rasmussen and drummer Lasse Jacobsen - that has released six albums since 2020 and built a firm reputation on the European jazz scene. The group operates as a true collective where all three members compose, drawing on Nordic lyricism, modern minimalism and the American jazz tradition. Their 2026 album Crossing Currents, recorded at Brooklyn's Bunker Studio with vibraphonist Joel Ross and saxophonist Hannes Bennich, is released on the German label ACT Music and marks the trio's ten-year anniversary.
