Månegarm is a Swedish folk/Viking metal band from Norrtälje, active since 1995. They weave melodic black and death metal together with traditional Nordic instruments - violin above all - and sing exclusively in Swedish about Norse mythology and ancient Scandinavian history. Now a trio led by vocalist and bassist Erik Grawsiö, the band has released thirteen studio albums and built a loyal international following as one of the genre's longest-running acts.
Månegarm released their 13th studio album Edsvuren via Napalm Records on August 29, 2025, coinciding with the band's 30th anniversary.
The band headlined their own Månegarm Open Air festival in Norrtälje on August 29-30, 2025.
