About

Mick Harvey (born 1958 in Rochester, Victoria) is an Australian musician, composer, arranger and record producer who spent over three decades as a core member of Nick Cave's bands - from The Boys Next Door and The Birthday Party through to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, which he left in 2009. A multi-instrumentalist at home on guitar, bass, keyboards and drums, he has built a parallel solo career that spans film scores, Serge Gainsbourg translations and original albums, and has co-produced records for PJ Harvey, Rowland S. Howard and others.
