Randy Brecker is an American jazz trumpeter from Philadelphia who has been active since the 1960s. He co-founded the Brecker Brothers with his brother Michael Brecker, blending jazz with funk and soul. Over the decades he has recorded and performed with a wide range of artists, from Horace Silver to James Taylor.
