Satanic Surfers are a Swedish melodic punk and skate punk band from Lund, formed in 1989 by drummer-vocalist Rodrigo Alfaro and singer Erik Kronwall. They were central figures in the Swedish punk explosion of the mid-1990s, releasing albums on Burning Heart Records and Bad Taste Records - with 'Hero of Our Time' (1996) selling over 60,000 copies and cementing their cult status across Europe. After disbanding in 2007, the band reunited in 2015 and has kept touring ever since.
Satanic Surfers are booked for Hellfest 2026 on June 18 in Clisson, France - their first-ever appearance at the festival.
Satanic Surfers were confirmed for Hellfest 2026 when the full lineup of 183 bands was announced in November 2025.
The band played a run of Italian club dates in April 2025, including shows in Milano, Taneto and Roncade.
