The Boppers are a Swedish rock 'n' roll and doo-wop band formed in 1977 in Hässelby, Stockholm. Their 1979 album Keep on Boppin' topped the Swedish charts, and together with their debut Number 1 the two records sold over 600,000 copies - making them the best-selling act in Sweden that year. Now nearly five decades on, the band still tours actively and released the anniversary album White Lightning in 2022.
The Boppers performed at Stadsträdgården in Örebro on 18 July 2025 as part of their ongoing summer tour.
The Boppers staged their annual 'A True Rock 'n' Roll Christmas Show' at Lunds Stadsteater in December 2025.
The band released a new recording of 'The Way', a cover of the 1990s Fastball hit, on 9 August 2025.
The Boppers signed with Universal Music Sweden, debuting the partnership with the Christmas single 'The Lights Of Christmas Day' in 2024.
The Boppers released White Lightning, their 45th-anniversary album, produced by Tomas Skogsberg and featuring guests including Nicke Andersson and Chris Spedding.
