Nils 'Nisse' Hellberg (born 2 April 1959 in Limhamn, Malmö) is a Swedish singer, guitarist and songwriter who co-founded the rock band Wilmer X in 1978. The band broke through nationally in 1988 with the album 'Teknikens under' and went on to become one of Sweden's most enduring rock acts, with Hellberg as its sole continuous original member. He won the Grammis award for best lyricist in 1996 and has released a string of solo albums since 2001, most recently 'Fyra på golvet' in May 2025.
Hellberg released his solo album 'Fyra på golvet' on 16 May 2025, produced with Chips Kiesbye and recorded live in the studio.
The double single 'Fyra på golvet' / 'Ber dej stanna' was released on 25 April 2025 ahead of the album.
The documentary 'Wilmer X - När tiden stannar', directed by Stefan Berg, had its cinema premiere on 7 March 2025, with Hellberg as the central subject.
Hellberg embarked on an extensive Swedish summer tour in June 2025 following the album release.
Wilmer X released 'Mer för dina pengar' in 2022, their first album with new material in 17 years.
