About

Grymlings is a Swedish rock supergroup formed in 1990 by singer-songwriter Mikael Rickfors, who named the band after his farm in Eksta parish on Gotland where the debut album was recorded. The original lineup also included Pugh Rogefeldt, Göran Lagerberg and Magnus Lindberg - all established names in Swedish rock. Their breakthrough single 'Mitt bästa för dig', written by Rogefeldt, spent 23 weeks on Svensktoppen with 14 of those at number one, and the self-titled debut sold 170,000 copies. The band is often called Sweden's answer to the Traveling Wilburys.

A concert at S:t Nicolai kyrkoruin in Visby was announced for 8 July 2026, tying the band back to their Gotland roots.

Grymlings announced their comeback with a new lineup - producer Lasse Lindbom and Skåne rock musician Dan Hylander replacing the late Pugh Rogefeldt and Magnus Lindberg.
