About

The Wailers are a Jamaican reggae band formed after Bob Marley's death in 1981 by members of his original backing group. Since 2016 the band has been led by Aston Barrett Jr. - drummer, multi-instrumentalist and son of legendary bassist Aston "Familyman" Barrett - who has steered the group through new studio albums and relentless world touring while keeping the classic roots sound intact.

    The Wailers kicked off a 2026 European summer tour with six dates across France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal.

    The band announced a 2026 world tour marking the 50th anniversary of the Bob Marley & The Wailers album Rastaman Vibration, starting in Japan in March.
