Then Comes Silence and Lakeside X play at Kollektivet Livet in Stockholm.
Then Comes Silence are a Swedish gothic rock and post-punk band formed in Stockholm in 2012 by Alex Svenson, the group's only founding member still active today. Drawing on horror, spiritism and the darker end of shoegaze and noise rock, they built a loyal following in Germany before signing to Nuclear Blast in 2016 and later to Metropolis Records. With seven studio albums to their name - from the self-titled debut through to Trickery (2024) - they are regarded as one of the hardest-touring acts in the European goth and post-punk scene.
Then Comes Silence announced their new album Requiem Ballroom on Metropolis Records, with lead single 'Judgement Day' released on August 7, 2026.
The band is confirmed to perform at M'era Luna Festival 2026 in Hildesheim, Germany.
Then Comes Silence released Boxed, a collection of outtakes and rarities including unreleased tracks, Spanish-language versions and remixes.
Then Comes Silence played Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2025 in Leipzig, one of the world's largest gothic music festivals.
The band released their seventh studio album Trickery on Metropolis Records, recorded at Stockholm's Kapsylen Studio.
