About

Web Web is a Munich-based jazz quartet - Roberto Di Gioia (keys), Tony Lakatos (saxophone), Christian von Kaphengst (bass) and Peter Gall (drums) - founded in 2016 and signed to the independent Compost Records. Described by Süddeutsche Zeitung as a German jazz supergroup, the band draws on spiritual jazz, ethio-jazz, krautrock and acid jazz, recording everything in one take with no fixed hierarchy of roles. Since their 2017 debut Oracle they have released seven albums, including two collaborative records with rapper and producer Max Herre.
