Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar plays at Tjolöholms slott in Göteborg on Sunday, 19 July 2026. Martin Stokke Mathiesen takes the lead role of Jesus, with Petter Snive as Judas and Johanna Kylberg as Mary. Tjolöholms slott is a Tudor-style castle from the turn of the century, situated on the coast south of Göteborg and now serving as a concert venue. The opera merges rock music with biblical narrative, created by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
