People glide past each other like ghosts, lost in their own thoughts - they do not see each other, do not feel the other's presence. Behind masks of normalcy lies deep anxiety, a fear of being left behind.

The city in the performance creates distance instead of community, and the place is not merely a backdrop but a character in itself. It pulls its inhabitants into a spiral of indifference, through a labyrinth of bureaucracy and rules, searching for a purpose that no longer exists.
