Svenska Kammarorkestern and Janine Jansen

The Swedish Chamber Orchestra from Örebro performs at Göteborgs Konserthus on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 15:00. Conductor Martin Fröst leads the orchestra in a programme of nineteenth-century Romantic music. The evening opens with Elfrida Andrée's concert overture, followed by Max Bruch's first violin concerto featuring Dutch violinist Janine Jansen as soloist. The programme concludes with Beethoven's first symphony. Göteborgs Konserthus is located on Götaplatsen and serves as the home of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Designed by architect Nils Einar Eriksson, the building opened in 1935 and ranks among Northern Europe's most respected concert venues.
